申請緊急旅行證件 Apply for an Emergency Travel Document (ETD)

  • 新護照會直接寄到府上或親身到東京駐日英國大使館領取緊急護照
  • 在大阪英國總領事館並不提供領取服務
  • New passport will be delivered to your address or collect your Emergency Travel Document at the British Embassy Tokyo in person. 
  • Pick up is not available at the British Consulate General in Osaka.

In the event of a British national passed away, relative city/ward office will notify the the Civil Affairs Bureau and Ministry of Foreign Affaris after receiving the Notification of death.

    Issue an Emergency Travel Document if your passport is lost, stolen, damaged, full, expired or has less than 6 months validity.

    We can offer advice on transferring funds.
  • 我們能夠協助罪案受害者
    We can offer support if you are a victim of crime.
  • 我們能夠在您住院期間提供協助We can help if you are hospitalised.
  • 我們能夠在您被拘捕或羈留時提供協助，探訪或聯絡您以瞭解您的福利情況，並盡力確保您與根據您被捕所在國家/地區的法律被拘留的其他人享有同等待遇。 
    We can help if you have been arrested or are in detention. We can visit or contact you to check on your welfare and do what we can to ensure you’re treated the same as others detained under the laws of the country in which you’re arrested.

    If you agree, we can contact friends or family on your behalf.

我們不能 WE CAN’T

    We can’t issue full validity passports or negotiate the visa processes of another country.
  • 我們不能為您支付賬單及不得從公共經濟援助中向您提供資金
    We can’t pay bills or give you money from public funds.
  • 我們不能參與調查罪案。 We can’t investigate crimes.
  • 我們不能爲您支付醫院賬單。 We can’t pay your hospital bills.
  • 我們不能爲您從監獄中保釋。 We can’t get you out of prison.
  • 我們不能爲您提供法律咨詢。We can’t provide legal advice.

We do not provide walk-in services but emergency services remain available 24/7 through our hotline.

An appointment must be booked online before visiting the embassy. Applicants must be seen in person for the following services: 

  • Administer an oath, affirmation or affidavit of marital status 
  • Making a certified copy of a British Passport 
  • Civil Partnership to Marriage Conversion 
  • Same sex marriage in Japan: Consular marriage or civil partnership

如果我的護照遺失、被盜或已過期，可以怎樣？ WHAT DO I IF MY PASSPORT GETS LOST/STOLEN?

如果您的護照已遺失、被盜、損毀、已滿或過期，您可以申請續領或更換護照：Overseas British passport application; 

或如果您正在日本旅行並急於離開或沒有足夠時間在您啟程之前續領/更換護照，您可以申請緊急旅行證件：Get an emergency travel document;

另外，如果您的護照已遺失或被盜，你必須盡快向英國護照署報告 ，以便注銷您的護照： Cancel a lost or stolen passport。

If your passport has been lost, stolen, damaged, is full, or expired, you can either apply to renew or replace your passport: Overseas British passport application;

or apply for an Emergency Travel Document (Get an emergency travel document) if you do not have time to renew/replace your passport before you travel. 

You must also report this as soon as possible so that your passport can be cancelled: Cancel a lost or stolen passport

申請緊急旅行證件 GET AN EMERGENCY TRAVEL DOCUMENT

如果您的護照在海外遺失或被竊 ，而您未能及時續領或補領新護照 ，您可以申請緊急旅行證件。

如果需要緊急旅行證件的人士為16歲以下，其家長或監護人需要代理其申請。

如果您啟程的時間為三星期後，請參考續領或補領新護照以確保您有足夠時間準備。

You can apply for an emergency travel document if you’re abroad and your passport has been lost or stolen, damaged or expired, and you can’t get a new or replacement passport in time to travel.

If the person needing the emergency travel document is under 16, a parent or guardian should apply on their behalf.

If you are travelling in more than 3 weeks, check if you can get a new or replacement passport in time to travel.

我想在日本結婚，我需要什麼文件？ WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO GET MARRIED IN JAPAN?

如果您要在日本結婚，請聯繫您想去最近的市役所/區役所了解當地婚姻法律和您需要的文件。

對於英國國民，提出婚姻狀況宣誓/確認書是入籍結婚條件之一。

如希望在日本結婚，你可以於東京駐日英國大使館預約並申請。 一般而言，市役所/區役所很少接受在英國發行的無結婚紀錄證明書，大使館亦不需要此證明書來進行宣誓/確認。

If you are getting married in Japan, contact the nearest local civil registrar where you want to get married to find out about local marriage laws and documents you will need. 

For a British National, an Affidavit/Affirmation of Marital Status is one of the requirements for getting married in Japan and you can get this from the British Embassy Tokyo by appointment. CNIs issued in the UK will not be accepted locally nor is a requirement for this service.

如需申請簽證，請聯絡英國簽證暨移民署 （UKVI）及日本簽證申請中心（VFS Global）

如需申請護照、國籍或無犯罪證明，請聯絡相關英國政府部門。（英國護照署、內政部及刑事紀錄署）

我們不再為英國國民見證及發出在英國領取年金的生存證明。請參考列表尋找合資格的專業人士為您服務。

我們不見證或發出任何有關商業、地產買賣、住址證明或簽名公證的文件，因為這些服務都可以由當地的公證行（公証役場）提供。

For Visa issues, please contact UKVI and VFS global Japan.

For Passport, Nationality and Police certificates, please contact relevant authorities in the UK. (HMPO, Home Office or ACRO)

We no longer witness life certificates for British nationals claiming a British pension abroad. Please refer to the list of people working in a recognised profession who can do this for you.

We will not witness or issue documents for the purpose of registering businesses, purchasing/selling property, confirming addresses, or witnessing a signature as these can be done at local notaries.
